| THEO Theo is a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 1/11 Theo was pulled from a shelter in Florida. According to the shelter worker, Theo was brought in by a man who stated that he had found Theo as a stray and could not keep him. After scanning Theo and researching the microchip, it was discovered that the same man who brought Theo in in such sad condition was actually his owner. Theo has severe dermatitis and the shelter knew they did not have the funds, experience or time to help Theo. S'Wheat Rescue was contacted to see if we would be interested in pulling Theo and working with him. The shelter worker said Theo was very shy and withdrawn. His owner had stated he had some food aggression issues, but the shelter did not witness any aggression issues at all. Theo is in a foster home now with two other dogs and doing fine so far. His foster mom said he was fine on the way home and gave her a couple of licks, but when her husband came home, Theo came to life. Tail was wagging and doing little jumps, so Theo is definitely a "man-dog". We will work with the foster home and whomever adopts Theo to help resolve his skin and allergy issues so he can become the beautiful Wheaten he was born to be! Theo is neutered and up to date on shots. |
