MACKEY Mackey is a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Her DOB is 3/10 Mackey ended up in a shelter after he bit a male groomer. His only chance was going to a rescue as he was being male aggressive. Since he was so young we decided to bring him into rescue to evaluate him and work with him. We believe that Mackey was abused by a man and his behavior is based out of fear as he is actually a very submissive boy. While Mackey did show some male aggression to a male rescue person on the first day, he has since become very friendly to and attached to that male so we think he will be fine after he learns to trust people. His past owner left a blurb about him which said he loves water and tennis balls, knows sit, down, paws up, spin, play dead, fetch, etc. Mackey loves to jump up beside someone and cuddle while they read a book or watch tv. Mackey is neutered and up to date on shots. |
