KATE
Kate is a purebred female Soft Coated
Wheaten Terrier. Her estimated DOB is
4/07.
Kate was rescued from a hoarder
situation along with Hugo, Linus and
Aaron. Below is a little info on that:
I just took on 4 Wheaton's from a
collector of dogs. I believe I have two
males and two female's, none are current
on shots or fixed. They are so badly
matted its hard for them to walk. Shy but
not fear bitters. Not well leash trained,
but do try to come with you. Her way of
taking care of them was a trailer with a
fenced area, she would drive out there
to feed them, by throwing food over the
fence. They were outside dogs.
4/7/09 Puppy Watch Day 1
X-Rays today showed that there are 5
puppies for sure and possibly a 6th
hiding out.
We tracked down the daughter of the
woman who had these dogs and were
told that the Wheatens were kept
separate from the other dogs so we
expect that the puppies will be
purebred. Either Hugo or Linus is the
father since Aaron was already
neutered. We will not be docking their
tails as we consider it a senseless
mutilation.
The puppies will be up for adoption
when they are old enough. We will not be
accepting application for them until they
are at least a month old. We will
announce on the groups when we will
begin accepting applications.

Kate and her puppies, Callie and Paddie,
are now available for adoption.
Kate will is spayed and up to date on
shots.
JULY 2009 - A FOREVER HOME
Kate has been adopted by our
very own Topaz and her
husband Hal of Missouri
She joins Dasher who was our
adoption #59!
