| WINKIE Winkie is a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 11/16/10 Winkie is a owner turn-in. He was spending most of his time in a crate due to his owners long work hours which was not fair to him so he has come into Rescue to find a home that came spend more time with him. Winkie is blind in his right eye. He has a condition called "juvenile eye" which means that his eye failed to develop properly before birth resulting in a malformed eye. You cannot see it with the fall and since he has always been that way it does not phase him other than he does not like to be touched on that side of his face. Winkie is very sweet and loves to be petted and give kisses. He is outgoing and plays well with all the other dogs in Rescue. As you can see in the pictures, Winkie came into Rescue very matted and had to be shaved down. But, his lovely Irish Coat will grow back in quickly. Winkie is neutered and is up to date on shots. |
