TUCKER

Tucker is a purebred male Soft Coated
Wheaten Terrier.  His DOB is 3/9/09

Poor Tucker has already been through 2
owners in his short life.  His first owner
was a single mother with a small child
who Tucker was too much for. He was
given away on Craig's list. Below is some
information from his second owner:

He is very hyper, playful and honestly,
into everything.  He has not shown any
aggressiveness at all - even if you take
his rawhide bone away or interact with
him while he is eating.  He has
interacted with neighbor dogs. He is
always happy and hyper to play - never
aggressive.   He is very social, always
looking for a friend to play him (canine or
human).

He stays in his kennel during the day
while we work, but prefers to sleep at
the foot of our bed at night.  He knows
how to sit, stay, lay down, play dead
"boom", shake, and give "high fives."

He wants to play ALL THE TIME.  I think a
home with another dog or someone
who can play with him daily for large
periods of time would be ideal.  He
gets lonely...following us around with a
toy in his mouth hoping someone will
play with him.  Sometimes someone will
throw a toy a round for a few minutes, or
chase him around the house, but it's not
near amount the time that he wants.  It's
very sad...and he ends up getting
into trouble because he's bored.  He'll
pick up something off the kitchen
counter, table, end table, etc. and will
end up getting reprimanded,
instead of played with.

We didn't  come to this decision easily.
We will all miss him, but know deep
down that our home is not a happy home
for him, or for  us. It feels like we
say "no, Tucker" more than we play with
him. :-(    I don't see our schedule freeing
up anytime soon, so the only logical
choice seems to find him a home where
he will be better cared for and happier.

Tucker has a pretty irish coat and will be
a gorgeous dog when his coat has
matured and filled out.

Tucker is neutered and up to date on
shots.
