| Tobie Tobie is a male Wheatable. His est. DOB is 12/11 Tobie is a playful, happy-go-lucky wheatable boy. He is just one year old and was living in a shelter since Sept 2012. The reason? His owners didn't have time for him. Tobie is absolutely adorable and is currently living in a temporary foster situation with a shelter volunteer. He is described as fun and energetic. He has no behavior issues at all and gets along great with dogs and seems to be ok with cats too. Tobie pulls a little on leash, but his foster mom has been working with him on that, and he will sometimes bark at strangers. His behavior evaluation from the shelter gives him flying colors -- no handling issues, playful responses to loud noises and quick moves, and Tobie has shown no food aggression or resource guarding. He has not been tested with children, but nothing in his aptitude points to any problems at all. He is silky soft and loves to please. He is having a great time working off some energy by trotting along with his foster mom while she goes on bike rides. He enjoys chewy bones and his foster mom has said she is the smartest dog she has ever worked with. He has learned several commands within just a few days. Tobie is neutered and up to date on shots. |
