Sage is an approximately 4 year old purebred Soft
Coated Wheaten Terrier.

Sage was found wandering in a busy intersection in
Kansas and taken to a animal shelter there were
everyone expected his distraught owner to come and
get him. Incredibly he sat in the shelter through the
entire "stray-hold" period without anyone coming and
claiming him.

So, when his hold period was over we immediately
pulled him out of the shelter and he now is with a
wonderful foster family having a great time playing with
their Wheaten and Wheatable.

As you can see in the pictures, Sage is a very beautiful
dog. He has a wonderful, silky golden coat and he
loves to be groomed. He is getting along well with the
two other dogs in his foster home. He has a great
personality, does the 'Wheaten Greetin'!' with great
glee and loves to give hugs and lots of kisses.

Sage has had a visit to the vet and other than being a
few pounds underweight he seems to be in perfect
health, is neutered and has been given his shots. He
should weigh around 40 lbs. when he is back to a
healthy weight.
