Oona is a purebred female
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier.
Her DOB is 4/13

Oona is a owner turn-in. She has begun
to escape frequently and chases the
feral cats in the woods.  She has begun
killing the owner's chickens and the
chickens are a major source of her
income.  So Oona needs to be rehomed.

From the previous owner:

"I rescued Oona in December from a
horrible existence of living 24/7 in a
crate, unvetted, ungroomed, not house
broke and not wanted by the previous
owners.  She was very thin and seemed
to be malnourished when I got her. A
friend who was a contracted was
working in a home nearby and the owner
asked if he knew anyone who would
want a dog.  I went over that evening
and could not believe what I saw, this
poor, timid dog looking out at me with
the saddest eyes I have ever seen.  The
owner said they couldn't get her to her
to behave so they rarely let her out of
her crate.  I opened the crate and this
smelly little dog jumped into my arms
shaking.  I took her home and got her
vetted, shaved down got her
housetrained and she was very happy.
The vet says judging by her small
stature, poor teeth, indicates she was a
puppy mill bred dog and that further
neglect by the previous owner did not
help her to grow much.

Oona loves people, and loves to
cuddle.  She loves to lay at your feet and
just be with you. "

Oona is not good with cats or other
small animals and will need a home
without either.

Oona is spayed and up to date on shots.
