| NELLIE Nellie is a purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her est. DOB is 7/06 Nellie was originally a stray that was found wandering in rural Kansas. She was taken to a kennel who got in contact with Rescue as they did not want to see her go to a shelter. Nellie was then adopted out but unfortunately she and the male Wheaten that already lived in the home did not get along and Nellie has come back into Rescue to find a new home where she is the only dog. From her adopter: Nellie is a super sweetie! She loves human attention, she's smart, and well-behaved (except with Murphy). Nellie would be a fabulous match for a home where she is the only dog. She gets along with my boyfriend's cats, but neither dog ever has access to the room where he feeds them. I believe that she would also be aggressive toward the cats if they were fed in the open. Nellie is not good with other dogs and will need a home where she is the only dog Nellie is spayed and is up to date on shots. |
