| MICKEY Mickey is a male Wheatable. We believe he is a Wheaten/Bulldog mix. His estimated DOB is 8/04 Mickey's "owners" dumped him in a kill shelter claiming they were moving. Below is information from his new foster mom: Mickey is a very sweet boy. He is very submissive to other dogs and likes to instigate play, but knows when to back off. He did very well with all of the other dogs that were in my house, big and small, till they left this morning. He will do well with any female. He has done very well with the kids that were here from the church this weekend bringing crates and food, etc. in and out of my house. He loves kids and does not feel threatened by them. Mickey rides very well in the car but needs some coaxing to get in the car. He walks very well on a leash and does not pull. He has indeed had a leg injury in the past and favors weight on the other back leg when he sits and lays down. He does not jump up on you or guests. He would do very well with either a family or couple or single person. He seems to develop a bond quickly and does look to you for the lead. His tail was overly docked but he does have a nub, shorter than most Wheatens. He weighs about 45-50 lbs I am guessing and stands normal height. He gives very soft kisses and loves belly rubs. He will be petted as long as someone will pet him. I have not seen any interest in toys at this point, so we will see how that goes. Mickey is neutered and up to date on shots.
