| MAX Max is a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 10/30/09 Max was a owner turn-in. Some information from the former owner: We are having fights between the two male dogs we own. My vet indicated that Max needs a new home separate from Marley. I have also taken Max to Boot Camp a which specializes in agility, obedience and behavior modification. Several trainers worked together with Max and then with all three dogs. Their evaluation was that Max needs a calm home as an only dog or possibly with a very calm female. He did not like other males and especially our other dog Marley. Furthermore, the trainers indicated that Max gets overstimulated by loud noises, other dogs and other triggers. We have been keeping the two males completely separate by crating one or having one outside. However one mistake or not securing the latches on the crate can cause another trip to the vet. This was the reason for the last two visits. The fights are not over food or toys either. I feel like I am having to give away one of my children and I have tried everything that I can think of to make this work. If you can assist me in someway, I would appreciate it. Max is neutered and up to date on shots. |
