| LIZZIE Lizzie is a purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her DOB is 2/15/05 Lizzie is a owner turn-in. Some information on her from them: We are currently Lizzie’s 4th home and now live in Ohio. She has been in our care since 2008 and is really one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. Lizzie was abused when she was a puppy and rescued by someone in the military. That person then got deployed and gave her to our vet, who also had wheatens. The Vet then had a child and did not have as much time to dedicate to Lizzie. At the time my wife and I did not have children and decided to give Lizzie a new home. Our experience has been similar to the Vet’s in that she has been acting out more since our first child was born. In addition to one more person in the house, we have also been relocated 4 times in the past 2 years, which I am sure is not helping the situation. Most recently Lizzie has shown some aggression around food. Although she has never bitten anyone, she does show her teeth and growl when there is food nearby. This is unacceptable with a 19 month old running around since he does not understand that he needs to leave her alone when she is eating. I think Lizzie would be a wonderful addition to a home with a nice yard and someone who has plenty of time to cuddle, walk and just be a companion to her. Lizzie is spayed and is up to date on shots. |
