| FLYNN Flynn is a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 5/20/11 Flynn is a owner turn-in. Some information from them: He does really well with children. We have a 3 year old daughter and they play very well together although he may occasionally knock her over accidentally due to his size. He has never bitten anyone or even growled. He is very sweet, friendly and very much a people pleaser. He knows the commands "sit", "lay down","wait" and "go to your room". He is also very good with household boundaries. We have trained him not to go into bedrooms or past his gate and even when the gate is open he won't go past it. He also, almost never touches our daughters toys. He walks fairly well on a leash though he still pulls a bit. We have taken him many times to our local dog park and he enjoys playing with the other dogs. Flynn is also very good when being groomed. He likes to be brushed, and cooperates when being washed getting a hair cut or getting his nails trimmed. He did break his right hind leg when he was about 7 months old, but the bone was set by a vet and it was completely healed. Flynn does have some separation anxiety issues. He would do best in a home where someone is home with him a majority of the time. He will need some help with housebreaking especially when he is left alone. Flynn is neutered and up to date on shots. |
