COCO CoCo is a 4.5 month old purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. When CoCo was first turned over to rescue she had been diagnosed as either a hermaphrodite or pseudohermaphorodite, Coco was an owner turn-in. She was taken to the vet several times thinking she may have a bladder infection due to dribbling when she is excited. They were planning on spaying her but when the vet got her under anethesia a small abnormality in her vulva caused concern wih the vet and the vet did not continue with the surgery as she was not familiar with the condition and wanted to discuss it with the owners. Unfortunately one of the owners was having some serious health problems and they were going to have to leave Coco for several months to go out of state for treatment. They did not feel they could cope with everything at once and asked the vet to find a place for CoCo. She contacted us and with the help of a couple of good samaritans we were able to get her to Kansas City from Iowa so that she can have surgery to correct her problem. CoCo is just a wonderful puppy. Very friendly and outgoing and extremely smart. She gets along well with other dogs and just loves to play and play. She will make a wonderful addition to one lucky family. Coco is located in Kansas City, MO Upon examination by our veterinarian and surgery for desexing we found that she was a normal female puppy. MAY 2005 - A FOREVER HOME CoCo has been adopted by the Thompson Family of Missouri CONGRATULATIONS!! |
