| CHEWIE Chewie is a purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her estimated DOB is 10/07 She is a owner turn-in. Below is some info from them: The reason I am contacting you is that I am getting married in May, and my fiancé is highly allergic to dogs. We were hoping that her allergy was such that a single-coated dog like Chewie would be ok, but this is not the case. It breaks my heart to have to part with such a fun, exuberant companion such as Chewie, but it has become necessary. I have only had her since September 2009. Her former owners (close friends of mine) needed to find a new home for her because as she matured, she became aggressive toward their other, older female dog. I have only brought her around another female one time since I adopted her, in an attempt to find a good home for her. She was not aggressive to the other dog, but stood her ground when the other dog was aggressive. She has never bitten a person. She displays all of the normal wheaten traits of high energy, jumping, licking, and piddling when she gets excited. She came from a Petland store originally. Prior to me and her previous owner, she had been purchased and returned to the store. From some of her behaviors, it appears she may have been abused by those original owners that returned her to the store. I will miss her greatly, but the health of my fiancé is more important to me. Chewie is spayed and up to date on shots. |
