| BOBBIE Bobbie is an approx. 6 month old male Wheatable. He is one of 4 puppies that were turned in to rescue after being diagnosed with parvo. Thier mother was a purebred Wheaten. The puppies each spent 7-10 in extensive care which added up to a $2600 vet bill to save thier lives. Thankfully they have all fully recovered from the Parvo and are now immune to it. They are perfectly healthy now. The boys were much sicker than the girls and we very nearly lost both of them. They lost 2/3 of their body weight fighting off the parvo and were skin and bones when they were released from the vet and we were still very scared we would lose them. They had to be hand fed and coaxed and force fed as they had lost their appetites. Due to the stress of their illness they lost a large portion of their fur which has now started growing back in beautifully. Bobbie is a shy, sweet little boy. He loves to be held and loved but does not like a lot of noise and confusion. He was the sickest out of all the puppies. He is very smart and eager to please, and will do very well in puppy obedience school as will all the puppies. The puppies are all pretty much crate trained at this point, are UTD on shots and will be spayed or neutered prior to being sent to their forever homes. In order to offset the approx. $750 spent per puppy due to their illness, shots and desexing, these puppies will have a $500 adoption fee.
