| As you can see by the sale ad above, 7 female and 1 male Wheatens are going up for auction from a well-known Amish puppymill. For any of you who know about Amish millers, they are the worst we have seen for abusing the dogs in their care and not providing them with basic veterinary care let alone care for serious matters. We do not yet know the ages or any other info on the individual Wheatens coming up for auction but as soon as we get it we will add it to this site. The good news is the miller is getting out of breeding and selling Wheatens, the bad is we will have to raise a lot of money in a short amount of time if we want to save these poor souls from going to yet another mill to be abused and used as puppy-making slaves. Our experience in rescuing auction Wheatens is that we will need a minimum of $500 per dog in order to be able to get them at auction and get them vetted. $750 is probably a more realistic amount but we will shoot for $500. That means we would have to raise at least $8000 in less than a month. We can do it if enough of you are dedicated to the task. This is going to mean asking friends, family and co-workers to donate a little - we cannot do this on our own. It is our mission to help these poor lost souls and we need YOUR help to do it!
