ALEX Alex is a 1 year old purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Poor Alex has had a hard life. He has had at least 3 homes in his first year of life and was not well taken care of. He is scared of both men and of children. He is a very sweet boy, does not have a mean or aggressive bone in his body and really just wants to be loved. He came into rescue with two severely infected ears but has been to the vet and has had them treated. He has a beautiful irish coat, unfortunately he is matted to the skin and will have to be shaved down but that will grow back out and he will be a beautiful dog. Alex gets along well with other animals and will do best in a home that is quiet, best case scenario with a single woman. Due to his fear of children, we will not consider any homes with children under 14 years of age. He is neutered and UTD on shots and is located in Kansas City, MO January 2006 These new pics are of Alex after he was groomed - you can see his beautiful Irish coat is started to come in and have that characteristic shine. He does not like a camera pointed at him but believe me - he does not look so sad all the time! March 24 Finally got a few pics to show he does not always look so sad! He also had a fun play day today - you can see pics by clicking HERE April 2004 We have determined that Alex can only be placed in a home with a single woman. He attaches very strongly with only one person and wants to protect that person from other people so a single woman home is best for him. He is a great watchdog! June 2006 - A FOREVER HOME! Alex has been adopted by Ann Josten on South Dakota CONGRATULATIONS! |
