| JAKE Jake is a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 1/06 Jake is an owner turn-in. Below is some info from them: My son Scott has to move back home to NJ. He has a Wheaten but unfortunately he can not bring him home. He is very smart and friendly, we are hoping you can help find Jake a good home. Jake came into Rescue with very long, matted hair. The groomer tried to save his beard by grooming it while he was under anesthesia for neutering but it was just too matted and had to be shaved too. Thankfully it is just fur and it will grow back and he will be gorgeous again! Jake is a very sweet boy but it is obvious he has had no obedience training and he is a big, strong boy at 45 lbs. He will need training immediately to learn basic commands, to walk properly on a leash and pay attention when called, etc. JAKE WILL NEED A HOME WITH NO CATS!
